Overview
RockRidge Canyon is owned and operated by Young Life Canada , a grass roots Christian organization serving teenagers in Canada for over 50 years.
RockRidge History
Young Life Canada grew rapidly through the 1990's and eventually came to the point of needing its own camping facility. Through a series of miraculous circumstances, Young Life was given the Rockridge Canyon property and construction began with a targetted completion date of summer 2004.
On July 1, 2004 RockRidge Canyon hosted its' Grand Opening and the 50 year reunion of Young Life of Canada with approx 1200 people attending.
The first full summer of camping followed the Grand Opening where hundreds of high school kids enjoyed the new property. Almost 1900 highschool campers and leaders enjoyed the summer season in 2008.
