Young Life is a fun activity, an incredible camp or weekend trip, a group of friends, a safe place to belong, a caring adult role model. Young Life is consistent events and connections that happen all through the year, building friendships with peers and mentors that often last a lifetime.

Young Life provides healthy, creative fun. From weekly clubs to seasonal camping experiences to daily outings with leaders, Young Life is known around the world as the organization that knows how to have fun.

Club typically meets once a week and has been described as an experience in "controlled chaos." Leaders combine songs, humor, Bible-based talks and group interaction to create an hour of energetic fun where kids can express that teenage tendency to push the limits – all within the context of a safe environment.

Camping is one of Young Life's specialties. At our premier properties kids can discover adventure and prove their prowess by climbing through a ropes course in the tops of trees, barreling down a water slide from hundreds of feet up the side of a mountain, riding horseback along scenic trails, water skiing, mountain biking, playing basketball, skateboarding and enjoying what Young Life leaders promise will be one of the best weeks of their lives.

Extra-curricular activities beyond clubs and camping can include anything from ball hockey or basketball nights to simply sitting and having a pop with a leader after school. Young Life leaders are always considering the need of kids to have healthy, creative fun and friendships, and are consistently making plans to meet that need.

"Young Life" is the name of our organization, and it's also what we call our work with high school-aged kids. We have named our junior high component "Wyldlife" to differentiate between the two age groups and their varying developmental stages and maturity levels. Both ministries stay true to the time-tested practices we've been using for half a century: going where kids are, loving them unconditionally, earning the right to be heard and communicating God's love in terms kids can understand.

Young Life welcomes young people in both Junior and Senior high school of all backgrounds, regardless of their race or religious beliefs and decisions. Young Life values and respects all young people and strives to make each and everyone feel welcomed and accepted.
