Food Services Manager

This is your chance to bring your knowledge, experience and food service skills to serve at British Columbia’s largest camp, and camp kitchen! Everyday we serve hundreds of meals from our well appointed facility. Come lead our team as we deliver excellent dining experiences to teens, families and retreat guests throughout the year.

RockRidge Canyon’s office manager is in the centre of the action. You are great on the phone, in any situation. You like working with numbers. Being organized makes you happy. We have updated our gap year program for young adults, focused on leadership development. Integrated with our CREW program you will live, study and serve together, building real life vocational skills within the invigorating RockRidge Canyon community during our group rental season.
The positions are volunteer, with monthly stipend plus room & board is included. Best suited for college age adults. Work, including local outreach, is estimated at approximately 40 hours a week, which may include weekends, in Guest Services, Food Services, Site and Facilities, Housekeeping and any other department, depending on need. Some tracks may include vocational training and certification opportunities.

Are you available for a few hours per week to join our Christian community and partner to achieve our standard of excellence?
Throughout the year, but primarily from November through April, we require casual staff to augment our Housekeeping and Dining Hall teams.

You’ll keep things squeaky clean in the kitchen – running our two dishwashing machines when groups are in. You may also have a chance to help with prep work.
